We landed just after midnight and quickly made it to our hotel, where we had a lovely surprise. We had forgotten that we had put a comment on our Booking.com booking saying that we were recently engaged, so if there was anything they could do to make our stay special, it would be greatly appreciated. So they told us, they had upgraded us to a suite and when we walked in the door, there was a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us. The following morning we woke up early to make sure we made the free walking tour around the city. We met at Berczy Park the at the dog fountain, where I had a picture with a cat.

Adam was a great guide, and took us around the city, seeing the market, a couple of churches, Toronto's flat iron and ended at a distillery. We spent the rest of the day, walking around the city, to take in some other sites, like the CN tower, the Rogers Centre, the water front and a couple of city parks.

As the price to go up the CN tower was $40, but the price to have dinner at the top was only $65 for a 2 course dinner, we though it crazy not go for dinner, obviously the wine mad it a little more costly, but such a lovely evening view over the city, and pretty cool to eat in a rotating restaurant

The following day we explored the city on foot again, visiting the ice rink, a few more parks, and then over to the island, where you get magnificent views of the city.
