We had quite a relaxed morning in Abel and then set off, only to finish our audible story on the way to Marlborough - The Whale Rider. It probably is a children's book so be warned, but we both really enjoyed it and given the setting and our new cultural insight, it really fit the bill.

We managed to make it the the region in time to find a cosy campsite in Renwisk, hire some bikes, and enjoy three wineries before 4:30pm - so we were pretty pleased with ourselves. After all the luxuriously delicious wine, we didn't fancy the campervan dining experience - so headed into Blenheim for supper.
